Counting Money and Giving Change

I am learning to recognise the value of NZ coins, to add, total and give change

It was a bit easy then it was hard.

Edwin, you managed the task with just a little help.  It was easier when you saw the value of tens within the coins.  Keep trying hard to talk about your learning.  Mrs Templeton 16.11.16

I have been learning to observe and compare the works of other artists and to create my own art work using geometric shapes.

To be successful I needed to look at the works of Klee, Matisse and Kandinsky  and cut a range of shapes in different sizes and place them carefully to create my own masterpiece.

Describing a Storm

I am learning to describe a storm using my senses.

To be successful I will choose interesting words to describe what I can see, hear and feel during a storm.

You tried really hard to think of words to describe the storm.  I enjoyed reading it.

For writing I am writing about my family.  I have been learning to use capital letters and full stops in the right places.

I liked writing about my family but  I found it a bit tricky to remember to use full stops at the end of my sentence.
