I love Youthtown because we play so many game. At youthtown I learnt about speed. My favourite we play is planes and tanks.

Persuasive Writing

< I was learning to write a persuasive piece of write.I can think of lots of reasons why Ice-cream is better than chocolate. It was easy to persuade the reader to think that Ice-cream is better than chocolate because Ice-cream is very yummy.

Telling Time

I was learning to understand 24 hour time and write the time in number and word. I can read the time on the clock and write it in digital time then in words. I was easy because I had already learnt to tell the time.

I can multiply two digits together to reach an answer.
It was tricky because I don't know my time tables that well.

Punctuation Marks

I was learning about punctuation marks. I know to use each punctuation mark. It was easy because we have been practising using punctuation marks in class.

Contarctions

I was learning how to make contractions. I can make two longer words into one shorter word. It was easy because the new word had parts of the two words in it.

Making Infereneces

I was learning make inferences. I can think about what the words ane telling me. I it tricky because I found it hard to know what some of the words were trying to tell me.

I was learning about place value. I can identify how many hundreds,tens and ones were in 3 digit number. It was easy because the video we watched in class explained place value.

Skip Counting in 10's

I was learning to skip count forwards and backwards in 10's. I can skip count forwards and backwards in 10's starting from any number. It was easy to skip count in 10's because ten is a tidy number.

Road Safety

This week is road safety week. 1. Slow down to 40kms when you drive into a school zone.

Key Words

I was learning to read for specific information. I can look for keywords. It was easy to find the keywords in the story because we read it before.

Vowel Sounds

I was learning about the short and long vowel sounds. I can tell the difference between the long and short vowel sounds. It was easy to tell the difference between the vowel sound because the video explained it well.

Skip Counting

I was learning to skip count in 2's and 5's. I learnt how to skip count in 2's and 5's. It was eary to skip count in 5's because I have learnt this before.

Water Skills

Summarising Information

I was learning how to talk about the plot in the story. I know what the plot in the story is. It was easy to talk about the plot in the story because I like reading.
