I found this challenging because it was hard to found the things I can understand.
My next step is to describe and explain character traits with examples from the text.

My Speech 2019

I have been learning to write a persuasive speech.
I found the main body challenging because you have to think about want you have to write about.
Something I learnt was China has the world's biggest population and the second tallest builds/tower.
I found it was scared  to preset my speech to the class I felt scared after I did it.
My next step is to use PEEL paragraph.

I was learning to convert mixed fraction to improper fraction.I had to convert mixed fraction to improper fraction.I thought it was easy because I know how to convert fraction easily.I chose to share my learning by creating factions. My next step is to convert faction to decimal.

I have been learning to write an information report.An information report needs to have a beginning,middle and conclusion. It needs to includes facts, and be written in the present tense. I found this easy because I already have some fact about Oamaru. My next step is to get each piece of information is supported by details or facts, and these are clearly linked to that information.

I have been learning to write a variety of sentences to use in my stories to make then more interesting for my readers.
My favorite sentence was Explore the Subject
A sentence I found tricky was the W start because it has to start with who,what,why,when or where.
My next step is to use a variety of interesting sentence in my writing.

Summarising Information

My Reflection

I have been learning to find and summaries information by choosing the most important information. Summarizing is finding the most important information in a text and writing it in your own words. I found this interesting because I found out about Ernest Rutherford. I found summarizing the information easy because I know I have a little knowledge about Ernest Rutherford.  My next step is to write those ideas in a shorter way.

Reflection

I was learning to respond to a text using my prior knowledge and experience.
I found the definition part easy because I used Google to search to the meaning of the word to know what it meant.  My next step is to write better sentences.

Statistical Investigation

My Reflection

I have been learning to use the statistical enquiry cycle to carry out an  investigation.My investigation was to find data about people's favourite countries.   I was surprised  that China and Australia are the same peoples favorite country. I now know how to make a graph in Google sheets. My next step is to make deeper conclusions about the data.
